Sakie darted out of camp, puring contentedly. He had always enjoyed being a rogue but this was entirely new and he LOVED it!

Ember opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was that Sakie was sharing a mouse with Lightpelt.
"Aww," she cooed, in an irritating falsetto, "are you two in looove?"

Sakie snarled in her direction, his lip curling menacingly. "None of your buisness!" he snapped angrily.

Sakie continued. "I happen to KNOW that EMBER's in love!" he stated, flicking his tail back and forth angrily. "You can't try to hide it."

Crimson blinked. These rouges were so blunt sometimes. "And you're not?? " Crimson retorted smugly. it was fun being mean, but this was a rare occasion.

Sakie purred mysteriously. "I never said I was, and I'm not about to. I don't want to start a fight, but thisis none of your buisness." he added cooly, his ochre gaze penetrating deep. In truth he would dearly love to fight, but even HE understood that sometimes fighting was not the greatest idea.

Ember twitched her tail, stalling, as she pretended to examine her paws with intense scrutiny. "And is love a bad thing?" Her tone was cool, but threatened to turn frosty at the slightest sign of disdain.
She didn't bother glaring at Sakie; there was no point. Why would he listen to her, see her point of view? Would love soften him up? She highly doubted it. She simply sauntered over to Crimson and bluntly pressed her muzzle to his flank, in a blunt display of affection. Once a Clan cat, always a Clan cat.

Sakie scowled. "I never said love was a bad thing, and I am not intruding on your...personal life!" he yowled angrily. "I am just saying butt out of mine!"

A dark form watched nearby as the other cats argued over a silly thing like love..............
Weaklings was the thought that came to mind for the huge battle-scarred cat, but he knew there was power in numbers. On silent paws he emerged from his hiding place, his scarred left eye becoming unfocused for a second before fixing the group with a killing gaze. His eyes glowed errie oragne.
And thus entered Wolf.................

Now that Wolf was no longer hiding in the brush, he could compare his massive bulk with that of this other cat. It annoyed him a bit that the two cats were about the same size, but the hard coiled muscles under Wolf's ragged fur said something for himself. Wolf vainly wondered for a second if this cat was very young, or just an incredibly good fighter; his fur did not appear to be battle-scarred as was Wolf's.
Wolf decided that the best answer to this strange cat's greeting was with one of his own. A hard glare. He would refuse to speak until he found exactly what this little group was about.
