Crimson darted beside Ember, stumbling on rocks and rotts once or twice. He knew that Ember knew where to go. But what would they do after escaping their lives as Rouges? Undergrowth flew past him , ground underneath his paws only stopping for the short periods his paws touch it. he knew they were gaining up on them, and there was nothing he could do about it.

Dovefeather glanced at Ivoryfang and the two walked away, bored and confused. "Well, we must not have much of a reputation. No one should ignore the mighty team of Ivoryfang, Dovefeather, and L...Um, of Ivoryfang and Dovefeather." Dovefeather sighed. "Sometimes I forget." Ivoryfang only nodded.

Ember watched the two loners leave, and then whirled around to face Crimson again.

Crimson skidded to a stop.'Have we lost them?" Crimson glanced around behind him to see no sign of Sakie or Lightpelt. They wouldn't dare follow them onto Clan territory. Crimson faced Ember again. "I guess it's just you and me now, but that's probably a good thing." Crimson rubbed his muzzle against her flank, purring.
