A large, sheltered hole lined with soft moss, the warrior's den is sheltered in the overhang of the cliff, just down from the leader's den. Some roots hang over the entrance.

Once an old fox den, the few apprentices squeeze into a moss-lined nest in the shelter of a grassy knoll.

It's another depression in the cliffs, hollowed out by water, with an underground stream flowing along the bottom. However, the queens and kits are above the stream, well away from the damp.

The medicine cat sleeps in a small hole in the ground, surrounded by velvety grass with an overhang of roots. Shelves have been carved in the firmly-packed dirt sides to store the herbs and at the back is a mossy nest.
