The warriors sleep in a large, cavernous depression in a little hill. It has a small entrance, and after much work, it has been lined with pine boughs and moss.

Like most dens in the camp, the roots of a tree form this den. A fallen tree with long roots forms a sheltering umbrella over a depression in the ground.

The kits and queens have a large, luxurious den behind a large rock, with roots and sod piled up around it, sheltered with more rocks.

In an old badger set, long abandoned, the medicine cat keeps her den. There is a small passage that leads to a nest for sick cats, and another where her apprentice can sleep.
