OOC:// OK!
BIC:// Goldenstar and the rest of the patrol came hurtling back to camp, and were only a few dozen feet away when her sharp eye noticed something that was out of place - a huge black shadow, running with a slightly smaller, lighter colored one!
She could feel the fur on her shoulders rising up in anger. Were these the rogues?
Motioning with her tail to her Clan to back her up, she yolwed, "WHO GOES THERE?"
Sakie crouched down, then sprang up, claws fully extended. He knew he was no match for the whole group of half a dozen well-trained, well-fed warrior cats, but he hoped that if he could kill the leader, they would leave him alone.
He knew how these thigns worked. They were ferocious, these Clan cats, but they were soft and would hesitate for a moment in their shock for their leader. That would be the perfect chance for him and Lightpelt to get away.
He knew,of course, like all great leaders should, most of the Clan cat's weaknesses and strenghts. This included the nine-lives thing, and though he never liked to rely on luck, he hoped that the large yellow one was the leader and that she wouldn't put up too much of a fight.
He was still in midair, and was about to land on Goldenstar's back and issue the killing bite, but she was ready for him.
Rolling over so she was on her back, she didn't waste a second before slicing most of the way down Sakie's abdomen.
As blood started to gush out of his in jured underbelly, he let out a slight gasp but leapt back, and, in one fluid motion, bit her left hind leg, just below the knee.
Panting hard and dribbling bright red blood from her left leg, Goldenstar rolled back upright, pushing herself forward after coming up with all the momentum an strenght she posessed. Now she was on her hind legs and nearly fulley entended, and Sakie was on his paws again. She brought her double paws down hard, alicing open both of the huge black rogue's shoulders open nearly to the bone.
Yolwing his outrage and agony, he darted back to the woods, not waiting a second for his crush to catch up. Rogues, true rogues, at least, were not soft, but nor were the stupid. He hid in the shadows and watched, licking his wounds feverently, as Wildfur bit Lightpelt on front leg, hard enough to draw blood many times over.
OOC:// Silverpelt, make Lightpelt do as you want. Also, I know that technically Sakie's back in the Rogues section with the kit, but let's just say that he did the kit thing before he did this, and that Spiritkit is back in the clearing with Wolf and the others (and Ember and Crimson) now.
