Spirit backed up and tilted her head.

"S-she didn't say anything mean," she mewed, not knowing what all the fuss was about.

Sakie strode back into the clearing, a piece of mangled fresh-kill hanging limply from his jaws. "You know I haven't approved you because I haven't. Besides, from now on, Wolf's word is just as lawful as mine...unless I say so, of course. So do as he says,or you'll answer to me. Oh, and, also, Ember, you happen NOT to be one of the approved ones. You and Crimson actually happen to be on probation."

Ember rolled her eyes. "Well, you know, I don't HAVE to fight for you. You know, I could always take the side of the Clan cats."

She shook her long pelt out and settled down a distance away from Spirit, but flashed an expression reminiscent of a smile in her direction, as if to say, "Don't worry, Spirit." Ember gave a snort and began to groom herself, pointedly ignoring Sakie and Wolf.

Spirit calmed down and, with a yawn, curled up and close her eyes.

Ember didn't feel safe sleeping, not with the treacherous Sakie and Wolf around. She wouldn't put it past them to try to kill her.

Sakie patrolled the smallish clearing, confident that everything was more or less under control.

Ember watched Sakie warily, her eyes following his bulky frame as he 'patrolled' the small clearing.

Wolf glared at Ember from across the clearing- one wrong move from that piece of foxdung and he would shred her pelt! He didn't like her snippy tone or the way she acted- it was so wrong. Ember was different, and Wolf did NOT like different. He had been enemies with the she-cat ever since they met............... but at least Sakie trusted him.

On a different note, Wolf watched the little kitten as she slept. It was his job to protect her, and he set about his vigil.

(ooc:// aww! Wolf is such a softy for kits! Anyway, Torrentstar, would you be opposed if Wolf killed the traitor Ember in the battle?)

OOC:// Lol. Also I wanted to ask something - will Sakie and EMber ever make up? I had this idea of him living his entire life a rogue and loving it, but in his last few minutes he sees the light and he dies a warrior. Would it be OK if he made up to EMber in that time?

Lightpelt at Wolf and Spirtkit . She had always had a soft spot for kits. SHe then turned around and headed toward Sakie." what's next?" she asked, coming to a swift walk along with Sakie.

Crimosn was curled up beside Ember. Thoughts darted through his mind like a fish would through water. How did they find out? How long will we be on probation? Will we be banishwed from the rouge group? Will we need to move to somewhere else? Will we be KILLED? Crimson shook his head. He wouldn't let ANYONE touch Ember. And if they layed a paw on her.....

Crimosn glanced at Ember. He knew in his heart that he wouldn't let anything happen to her. He would die for her. He knew.....he loved her with all of his heart.

Watching Sakie patrol the area like he was doing five minutes ago, his eyes drifted over to Wolf. he was protecting the kit like it was his own. What a great mother he'd make. Crimosn snorted. Wolf looked like he had a softy spot for kits.

Sakie looked at his love, then said, "We're attacking CLoudClan as soon as possible."

Lightpelt nodded . She pressed up agaist Sakie, purring softly then headed to the other side of the clearing and started to groom herself.

Sakie purred happily, for the first time in many days since he had first began to doubt Ember and Crimson's loyalty to their cause. He watched her groom for a few moments, then averted his gaze and did same.
