Crimson motioned to Ember. "I think they've found us.Let's go back and try again later," Crimson mewed quietly. He didn't like giving up, but there was no way two cats could take on a whole clan.

Ember's body clenched, and a strange emotion surged through her, almost making her forget the reason for her mission: oh yes, the rogues.
"Wait!" she meowed, "I'm not here to hurt you."

Rippedheart tilted his head - he didn't understand how a rogue could come into camp and NOT want to hurt them.

Rippedheart tensed, thinking instantly of Smallstep and their kits in the nursery. His every instinct was to go to them and not leave their side, but his duty was to the Clan. "Do you know anything about when they plan to attack or anything?" he asked warily.

Crimson stared at Ember for a moment.Was she really helping the clans? ' Ember what are you doing? Why are you helping them?' Crimson knew he wouldn't agrue with her, but if the others found out, they might not be happy.

"Helping them?" Ember blinked at Crimson. "Why not? Stealing kits is vile! Low! Despicable!"
"Stealing kits?" A voice spoke up from the medicine cat's den. It was Darkheart, the deputy. His apprentice trailed behind him, warily. "Rogues?" His amber eyes burned into hers, and then he looked away. "Warriors, be on guard! Double patrols! Oh, and someone warn Crystalstar!"

Crimson wasn't a monster. " I know. But what are we going to do if the others find out? Were no match to fight 2 against 6," Crimson pointed out. "But I do agree; I'm NOT going to take place in the kit stealing operation." Crimson wasn't nearly as stupid as some of these cats might have thought, or weak.
Crimson rubed his muzzle against her flank, hoping he was forgiven for anything he had said or done.
