Mosspaw's usual sense of humor and carelessness was gone instantly with her deputie's urgent order. She darted away, tail flowing after her.
When she got back to camp, she breathlessly told Goldenstar everything. "...so she sent me back here to tel you." she finished.

"Did you smell something?" Runningrain asked as she got onto her paws again, padding over to Mosspaw. "Mice? Rogues?"
Suddenly, the fur on the warrior's shoulders rose, and she whipped around, expecting to see someone standing there. Instead, nothing.

Mosspaw sighed. She had to explain it AGAIN, which, normally, she would not mind, but after the run back from the patrol and telling a stern Goldenstar all about it, she was feeling the slightest bit irritated. She fought hard, however, and managed to throw it off so she wouldn't hurt her friend. "OK. We had just started a patrol...I caught a beetle! It's wings were silverly...never mind. So anyway, the patrol comes to Twintrees, becuase we wanted to ceck it, you know, just in case, and I found some hidden bones under the leaves. There were four mouse-skulls so there were four mice eaten, which means - " she was broken of by Goldenstar, who had the slightest sneaking suspision that Mosspaw didn't quite get the urgency of the situation. She was, however, sure that Runningrain would understand, so she turned to Runningrain and said, " - that either the same rogue has come back, and stolen prey, too, or that other rogues have come also. Either way. It wouldn't be a good thing for the Clan."
Mosspaw ignored the break-in by her leader and continued. "So that was bad, right, but then Autumnpool smels rogue and sees them up on a ledge around IceClan territory. They were't far either!" she finished dramatically, happy to have had an adventure at last.
Goldenstar nodded. "Thank you, Mosspaw...you can go eat from the fresh-kill pile now. Remember that no cat is allowed henceforth to go from this cat without at least 3 escorts except in times of dire emergency. I'm sure the rest of the patrol will fare fine without you."

Autumnpool slowly crept along, trying to get more information on these rouges. She pricked her ears for the slightest sound.

Wildfur noticed what she was doing and followed, his pale bellyfur brushing the ground but not making a sound.
Right paw...Left paw...Back Right paw...Back left paw... he thought to himself. It seemed to him that thinking about what he was doing made it harder to do, but thinking about how to do it made it easier.

Rainfur noticed what Wldfur and Autumnpool were doing.She did the same,moving swiftly but silently.

Wildfur slowly went along the ground, taking everything in but not betraying their position at all.
They were much closer now and Wildfur could see the faces of the rogues. There was a massive black one, with an air of arrogance that must drive the other rogues mad, there were two reddish-orange ones, and another she-cat.
