Shadowfur stared down at his daughter, feeling a huge pang rip through him like a thorn, as he watched her interact with her mentor. He recognized the dark, menacing-looking tabby as Darkheart, the deputy. But what could he do about it?
Tiny points of light glimmered on his body, flowing through his pelt like stars.

Ravenwing padded the other way slowly, leadping gracefully between stars on her way to EmberClan terrirtory.
