Emberkit was too busy laughing at Lightningkit to hear, but Lightningkit did, and he gave a small flick of his ears; self-conciously. Her... my mate? He'd never thought about it that way, but come to think about it, he did like her... he liked her a lot...

Silentkit stretched one paw lazily towards the ceiling, blinking towards the other occupants in the nursery. She rose, twitching and ear, and moved towards Leafkit, nudging her. 'What will happen?' she thought, 'what will our fate be?'

Eberkit turned her head and fixed her icy gaze on Foxkit. "Waiting for new, I guess. I hope I'll be an apprentice soon, I'm almost six moons... I want to fight, not sit and do nothing while something threatens my Clan"

"You still have to wait until your six moons old, like any other cat." Mosspaw explained.

Silentkit's head snapped up, and she looked about, startled. She started to rise on unsteady paws, and then heard the other talking. 'I'm 6 moons, now,' she thought. 'I could become an apprentice!'

Darkit leand over to Foxkit and gave him a big lick between his ears lovingly. "I'm 5 and 1/2 moons old I"ll be a apprentice soon too" She squeked kittenish.

Ebonykit shoved herself physically into the circle as Runningrain settled herself gracefully into the circle of mothers. "What's going on?" she mewed squeakily. "I'm Ebonykit."
Confusion registered briefly on Silentkit's face. There was a new kit! She pushed herself to her paws and pushed herself in beside Ebonykit, staring at the all-black kit with startling blue eyes. Silentkit reached over to draw her stubby tail along Ebonykit's paws in a gesture of affection.

WK: Willowkit turned around to see a new kit, a deep black kit that seemed to blend in with the shadows.
"What's your name?" Willowkit mewed, going straight up to the kit.
MP: Mosspaw looked at Ebonykit warmly. For some odd reason, Mosspaw was happy for the new company. " Hi Ebonykit," she greeted.

"Hi. I'm Ebonykit." So mewed the coal-black ball of fuzz with stubby legs. "How about you?" She sidled up to Mosspaw and circled a few times before curling up comfortably next to the older apprentice.

Mosspaw opened her mouth to speak to Ebonykit, but Willowkit quickly interrupted. " I'm Willowkit!" meowed Willowkit in her strongest , biggest voice.
"And I'm Mosspaw," mewed Mosspaw, shaking her head and Willowkit's enthusiasm.
