Mosspaw pretended to bite her. "Never. Of course not, wouldn't think of it." she said sarcastically as her jaws tapped lightly in the fur by Rainfur's scruff.

Mosspaw licked her shoulder. "I'm just a mean cat, through and through. Do you want to hunt, because Wildfur is still waiting..." she motioned to the dappled tan tom sitting by the edge of the clearing, who was peacefully batting at the occasional butterfly.

Mosspaw bounded happily over to her friend and told him their plans. "So we're going to be going hunting." she finished.
Wildfur shot a toothful smile at Rainfur before they disappeared into the depths of the forest to hunt.

Rainfur smiled at Wildfur and then headed in the opposite direction to hunt

Wildfur's dappled pelt blended into the forest wilderness as he was hardly moving at all. He had scented a woodthrush and was about to pounce. He leapt, nearly missing the wood thrush but luckily grabbing it with his foreclaw as it began to flutter away. He quickly killed it, said thanks to StarClan and pushed dirt on top of it. Just at that moment he heard Mosspaw's truimphant merrorw as she caught her vole.

Rainfur caught a mouse and a large vole and buriend them.

Runningrain bounded energetically through the dense undergrowth, towards Wildfur and Mosspaw. Rainfur was there, too. The grey warrior paced towards them, shaking her pelt and flicking her ears. "Have you caught anything?" she mewed.

Mosspaw replied first. "Yes, I caught a mouse. It's over theere, under the brambles." she motioned with her tail.

Hearing a mouse, Runningrain felt her mouth water, and she raced over the ground on swift paws. It wasn't long before she returned with a dead mouse dangling limply from her jaws.
