Rainfur led them back to camp.Then she approched goldenstar.She bowed repectfully."can i talk to you ?" she asked.

The golden she-cat's yellowey eye brows arched, but she said nothing as she lead the way to her den.
"What? IS something wrong?...Did you see a rogue, or EmberClan?" she asked nervously once they got there.

"No" she said." Wildfur did catch a weird scent at Tall trees but i was going to ask...while you've been so busy latly...maybe you would like someone else to mentor Mosspaw for a while...possibly me" she said quickly.

Goldenstar looked surprised, then saw the seriousness on the grey warrior's face. She smiled. "You know, I was just about to ask you that. Well, maybe not JUST ABOUT, but, you know. Soon. You're a good warrior and you need an apprentice, and..." she took a breath, for she hadn't been breathing, for some reason. "...and, it's true, I havent been spending much time with Mosspaw lately. I'm sure you'll make a wonderful mentor. We'll make a re-naming ceremony soon." she breathed in a huge gulp of air, as if she had forgotten to breathe, which was half-true. She smiled, then she seemed to remember something and sobered, instantly becoming large and intimidating. "Will you get Wildfur for me?" she asked. "You can come if you like...in fact, you probably should stay."

"I'l get him"Rainfur said.She quickly left the war's den.She say Wildfur acroos the clearing." Wildfur" she called out.Finally she got to him."Goldenstar wants to see you"she told him.

Wildfur's eyes slanted ever so little inwards as he wondered what the leader could want with him. He quickly ran towards the leader's den.
Goldenstar was inside, pacing slowly back and forth as her unspoken tensions knotted over one another.
"Wildfur, Rainfur says you smelt something by the border. I need to know what you smelt."
His eyes widened as understanding dawned on him, and he said, "I smelt crow-food, mixed with the smell of cats who do not groom...were those rogues?" he asked.
Goldenstar bit her lip as she replied, "I think they were."

"That close to camp!" Rainfur exclaimed."I was thinking maybe we should have a few cats patrol the camp at night.I will tonight if you want " Rainfr suggested.

Ebonykit tumbled out of the nursery in a whirl of fluffy black fur that managed to be sleek and soft despite everything. His amber eyes glinted in the sun, and he ran up to Rainfur, excitedly. "Guess what Rainfur?" he said, and without waiting for her to answer, blurted, "Mommy says that I can be an apprentice soon!"
Whiskers twitching, Ebonykit settled himself back on his small haunches to meticulously wash a paw, drawing his small pink slip of a tongue over his ears.

"How exiting"Rainfur said.Rainfur sat down and started washing a paw too.She looked in the direction of the camp need all entrence/exit .They needed all the fighters they could get if they were to fight the rogues.That possibility seemed particulary evident as of late.A new alertness had slipped upon the camp ,putting the cats at full prepardness for any situation.Hopefully.

Goldenstar strided out of her den, with Wildfur trailing behind her. She started to give orders -
"Rainfur, could you take a couple of warriors and make a complete search of our borders? Wildfur has scented rogue by TwinTrees. Make sure you check that place especially."
Mosspaw walked up to Runningrain and sat down beside the warrior/queen. "You had something to talk to me about?" she asked.
OOC:// Torrentstar, I've given Mosspaw to Rainfur to be her apprentice. Is Ebonykit already promised to someone or could Goldenstar mentor her? I understand if no.

Wildfur grinned. "Have I ever not wanted to patrol with you?" he asked goofily, his tail wiggling back and forth like a happy kit's.
Mosspaw smiled. "Yeah! I wanna patrol! Has Goldenstar made you my mentor yet?"

"Kinda,she said there would be a re-naming ceremony soon" Rainfur replied to Mosspaw.She then turned to Wildfur." I take that as a yes" she joled as they headed out of the camp.
