Rainfur turned to Mosspaw." Ready to patrol for some rogues"she said as she headed back to patroling.She then turned to Wildfur." Don't you think Goldenstar will make her warrior soon?" she asked ,whispering even through they were out of earshot.

Wildfur paused, thinking. "Yes. Except Goldenstar's supposed to be training her and she's been so busy with the rogues, and the possible threat from EmberClan, that she's been shirking her duties. I was sort of hoping that she would realise this and make me her mentor, but you're older, and more expirienced..." he let it trail off, bluching slightly.
He picked it up again a few sconds later. "What I mean to say is that Goldenstar will either spend more time with Mosspaw or make you her mentor. We desperately need warriors, and Mosspaw's almost 9 moons old!"
He looked like he was going to say something more when Mosspaw came up, holding something that looked like it had once been a sparrow.
"I caght something!" she said proudly.

"Congrats!"Rainfur said.She quickly turned away from Wildfur to face Mosspaw.
OOC://Do you want Rainfur to be her mentor, or was that just convosatin making?Because Rainfur is looking for an apprentice.

OOC:// I knew about Rainfur needing an apprentice, I think. (I seem to remember it) If you want, Mosspaw can be your apprentice. Goldenstar can always get another one.
Mosspaw's dappled fur fluffed out with pride as she picked the sparrow up again. "Thanks again!" she said.
Then she seemed to win, or lose, and inner battle and said, "I heard you to talking. I'd love you to be my mentor, Rainfur! That is, if Goldenstar doesn't mind." she added.

Atumnpool got up from the warriors den and trotted over to the fresh-kill pile. She picked out a juicy vole and began tearing off tid-bits at a time.

Goldenstar strided over, her golden tabby stripes shining in the noonday sun, her powerful muscles making little ripples under her pelt as she moved.
She stopped at the yellow she-cat, nodded respectively, and said, "Hello, Autumnpool! Mind if I join you?"

" Of course you can!" Autumnpool's formed a grin at the formality of Goldenstar. Of course she could join her! Autumnpool was honored for Goldenstar to be even asking to eat with her. " Would you like to share? I'm full," Autumnpool pushed the half-eaten vole over to Goldenstar.

Goldenstar gracefully sat down, curling her tail around her double paws as she did so. "Thanks." she said,
She took a bite, chewed and swallowed, then continued - "I came over here to let you know that cats have seen rogues in the forest, and that we're worried about them. So, when you go out on patrol, keep an eye out, OK? And also, EmberClan has been crossing our borders a little, so keep your nose and eyes ready for that." she finished the half of vole quickly.

"Those nasty EmberClan cats! Who do they think they are, waltzing on to Lightclan territory like they own it all!" Autumnpool was enraged by this. How dare Emberclan intrude on Lightclan territory. " I'll keep a look out for foreign cats. Who knows? Maybe we might get a new warrior. But you never know," Autumnpool's mood suddenly changed back to calm, but you could still see the fury in her eyes. " Has The Emberclan leader said anything yet?" Autumnpool inquired.

Goldenstar shook her head. "No. I am going to brig it up at the Gathering, but if this goes any farther, I'll have to find out some way to stop them sooner. Just about a moon ago they came waltzing into our camp, spouting off gibberish. I don't care about them, personally...but what if something's wrong in the forest that's making the EmberClan cats go mad?" she sighed, then continued. "You know, I've only been leader for about half a moon now, and though I love my Clan and my duty to it, this seems like it's so much harder than the leader before me, StarClan have peace on his soul."
she noticed the fury in the young cat's eyes and said, "But I think that part of the real problem is with the rogues. EmberClan hasn't stepped out of line for a while now, as far as I know, bu 3 rogues were spotted by a patrol yesterday."

" I hope they don't attack are patrols! We might have to put the more experienced warriors on the patrol, just in case," Autumnpool mused. She didn't like the fact of anything like that happening. " Rouges are usally bad news," Autumnpool stated.

Rainfur smiled at Mosspaw."I guess I can talk to Goldenstar about it" she said.
SHe returned to patroling and when she was satisfated with her search she hunted,catching a vole.Then she turned back to Mosspaw and Wildfur." Wanna head back to camp?" She asked.

Autumnpool began to groom herself after a moment of silence. Her day had gone by so fast she hadn't even gotten to cleaning-up. " So," Autumnpool said in between licks," How are the leader duties coming? I know it must be hard to be hit up with all those duties. " Autumnpool hoped Goldenstar didn't mind her grooming in front of her presence. Thinking about what she had said a little earlier Autumnpool quickly stuttered ," B-But I'm sure you're doing fine without help, because You're really good at doing things perfectly with out any help." She hoped she hadn't ruined being able to have a slight chance at becoming deputy.

Mosspaw nodded curtly. "I think so. Wildfur just has to catch something - " she was cut off by a triumphant mew from Wildfur as his unsheathed claws closed in on a squirrell.
She rolled her eyes and tried again. "Never mind. I think it's a good idea, because we've checked our borders."
Wildfur trotted over and said, "Me too. Nothing to report, except I noticed a weird scent around TwinTrees."

BACK AT CAMP - (It's getting hard having two different places to post in with my characters!)
Gldenstar smirked. "Your deputy position is nearly set in stone, but always have respect for me. And the leader responsibilities are going fine. They can be hard, but they're fine. They'll be easier with a deputy, though." she gave a knowing glance.
