Hmm....... I'd like to make one thing clear about all this-
if a cat is deputy, and has kits, once they aren't a queen anymore, they go back to being deputy. It's only in the case that a deputy needs to be CHOSEN that having kits will affect the choice.
And I'm getting SO confused with there being 2 Mosspaws...................... one of them needs to be made a warrior!

Oh, hmm............ maybe i should go re-read it then. But i'm pretty sure that I was right. After all, if a deputy's 'missing' if they come back, then they are re-turned their deputy statis............................... *shrug*
